“ We went into the restaurant today for the first time. The service from all staff was absolutely spot on, so friendly and welcoming!!! What a great place to eat. The food was amazing, steak cooked to absolute perfection King prawns were mouth watering, I have never tasted anything like it. What a wonderful and tasty place to dine or takeaway.....Will definitely be returning very soon. ”
“ We were a bit disappointed to turn up and find Captain Tom's closed for refurbishment in June 2023. We got our chance to eat in again on 10th August 2023. I chose the grilled swordfish and it was extremely tasty and well presented. My dad was very happy with his traditional cod and chips. “ Great service, classic British fish and chips. Lady that served us was VERY friendly and welcoming. The chips were perfectly well done as requested, the cod was crispy on the outside, soft and flaky in the inside. Curry sauce was excellent too. Highly recommended! ”

Place is well decorated, comfortable spot. And if you're getting a takeaway, these are the freshest chips in Hornchurch. ”
